About the project
Designed on a narrow terrain with an area of 125m². The challenge of the time was to develop a modern house, making the most of each space on the land (respecting the parameters of use and occupation), and at the same time the comfort of a 2 bedroom private area isolated balconies, access to the bedrooms is via an exposed concrete staircase located in the center of the house, where it has a double height ceiling, cut by a walkway also in concrete, breaking the sobriety of the white colors of the entire fully integrated social area, which accommodates the living and dining room, kitchen and gourmet space. The central area is lit through strategically positioned skylights so that it can receive full sunlight throughout the day.
For the finishes, the floor in solid Tauari wood, exposed concrete in some points, and sober snow white walls were chosen. On the façade we adopted the color 'Tormenta' from Suvinile de reference R152 in the cantilevered main volume and the 'Rock'in Roll' color reference R750 for the portico that frames the 7 meter high wall in Cobogós da Porthobelloshop. For the boundary walls, solid concrete brick with a crimped joint and white paint.
